Touring the Sydney Cricket and Sporting Ground Trust Precinct is one of Sydney’s coolest historical attractions, catering for all ages and sporting interests and is available to the public most days of the year.

Tour times

The SCG Guided Walking Tour of the Sydney Cricket Ground, Allianz Stadium and SCG Museum operates Monday - Saturday at 10am and takes approximately 90 minutes. The tour does not operate on major event days and NSW public holidays.

The SCG Private Group Tour Experience is ideal for school excursions, seniors' outings, club gatherings, sporting groups, corporate functions and tour groups.

Inform us upon booking and our experienced tour guides can tailor the commentary and focal points of the Private Group Guided Walking Tour to meet the educational, special interests and/or physical needs of your specific group.

Group leaders and teachers requiring a copy of the Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground Trust public liability certificate should contact the tour coordinator.

Tours depart from the Venue Services Office, Gate A, Allianz Stadium forecourt, Driver Avenue, Moore Park 2021 (opposite Kippax Lake and between NRL Central and Cricket NSW buildings). Look out for the life sized bronze statues.

Don't be confused with ‘Gate A’ of the Sydney Cricket Ground.

If you find yourself at Gate A of the SCG, continue walking along the footpath of Driver Avenue towards the city approximately 250m past the long brick wall, indoor cricket centre and Cricket NSW building. You will see the bronze statues and the SCG Tour Experience flags at our Venue Services Office in the Allianz Stadium forecourt.

There are no cloakroom facilities at the SCG. If you are travelling, we encourage you to leave large backpacks and suitcases at your hotel or make alternative arrangements for your luggage.

Late tour arrivals

Late tour arrivals

Tour guests should arrive 15 minutes before the tour and present their tickets to Venue Services staff. On receipt of tickets a wristband will be issued to each tour participant.

Tours leave promptly at the allocated start time, therefore any late arrivals cannot be accommodated and will miss the tour. If you can not arrive on time please call 1300 724 737 to reschedule your tour.

The SCG Experience is easily accessible by train, bus or on foot.

Many public buses run via nearby Anzac Parade and Oxford Street (corner of Oatley Rd) The Big Bus Tours, Hop On-Hop Off Bus, Bondi route has a nearby stop on Oxford Street at Paddington Town Hall (corner of Ormond St, opposite Oatley Rd).

Jump off the train and enjoy a 20-minute walk from Museum Station or Central, or catch a bus from either Central, Town Hall or Museum Stations.

Paid parking is available at the nearby Entertainment Quarter (EQ) in the Trust precinct.

The SCG Guided Walking Tour makes every endeavour to ensure tour activities run to schedule, however we reserve the right to alter the tour route or cancel tours at any time for any reasonable circumstances, including events, site activities and inclement weather.

This may mean from time to time some tours may not take in all of the features.
