Sydney Swans draw for 2018 announced

The 2018 AFL Premiership fixture has been announced with the Sydney Swans to play 11 home games at the Sydney Cricket Ground next year.

The club will kick-start their home campaign in round two against Port Adelaide on the afternoon of Sunday, April 1 and will return the following week for a blockbuster Saturday derby against the GWS Giants.

They will also play the Adelaide Crows and North Melbourne in May, Carlton and the West Coast Eagles in June and the Geelong Cats and Gold Coast Suns in July.

The Swans’ regular season at the SCG will finish with a match against traditional rivals Collingwood and Hawthorn in August. The draw features one Thursday game, three Friday games, five Saturday games and one Sunday game, with the date and time for Round 23 still to be announced.

Fans voted with their feet last season with a total of 367,376 fans turning out for 11 home games, bringing their average attendance to 33,398.

Season 2018 promises to be another exciting draw for the Swans as they look to recreate history at the SCG. To preview the full AFL fixture, click here.
