Getting to the SCG

Getting to the SCG

Fans are encouraged to plan their trip and consider all the available travel options ahead of time.

Parking is available near the SCG at the Entertainment Quarter car park and Sydney Boys & Girls High car park off Cleveland St. Arrive early to secure a parking space as traffic may be heavy on roads approaching the precinct during Friday evening peak, you can find real-time traffic conditions at livetraffic.com.

Please note that parking will only be available in the Entertainment Quarter or Sydney Boys High car parks for Friday night’s game. The EP2 and EP3 on-grass car parks will be closed for this event. Driver Avenue will also be partially closed outside the stadium.

If you are travelling from the Lower North Shore, please take the Randwick Anzac Parade exit and turn left onto Lang Road and follow the signs to the EQ car park.

The Sydney Boys High car park is accessible heading north on Anzac Parade. There will be no vehicle access to the SCG via Moore Park Road.

When catching public transport, plan ahead and allow extra time. Light rail services will run frequently to and from Moore Park. Queues may be long, especially after the game, so consider walking between Central and Moore Park via Devonshire St and the Albert ‘Tibby’ Cotter Walkway instead.

It’s strongly recommended to wear a face mask when travelling on services. You can also check real-time capacity indicators when planning your trip or boarding services. Remember you'll need to use an Opal card or contactless payment card/device when travelling to and from the event on public transport. Register your details via the Opal website or app ahead of time.

Visit transportnsw.info to plan your trip.

Additional measures and staff will be in place around transport hubs and the SCG to safely manage crowds arriving and leaving the game so be patient, practise physical distancing while in queues and follow the directions of staff on site.
