Women's Grade comp returns to action over weekend

First Grade will have to wait another week before returning to action, as the Tigers had a BYE on the weekend.

Second Grade went down to Universities at David Phillips South. The Tigers were sent in and were dismissed for a defendable 187. Kylie Hocknell played a lone hand in top scoring with 62 at the top of the order. In reply, Universities chased the target just 2 wickets down in a disappointing loss for the Tigers.

At Ryde Oval, Brewer Shield went down to Northern District Blue. The Tigers restricted NDs to 8/113 at the conclusion of the 40 overs, with Lily Campbell doing the bulk of the damage with the ball claiming 3/26. Sophia Hadwen also chipped in with 2/14 throughout the innings in a good bowling effort. In reply, the Tigers innings never found the momentum needed, being dismissed for 88, with Ananaya Sharma (34) the only Tiger to make it into double figures.
