Women's Competition commences against Parramatta

The Women's Competition commenced over the weekend, with the Tigers coming up against Parramatta in First and Second Grade. Due to the wet weather, Second Grade were unfortunately washed out at Ryde Oval. First Grade did manage to get on at Merrylands Oval, with Parramatta amassing 6/272 at the conclusion of their 50 overs. Synetta Manns led the charge for the Tigers bowling attack claiming 2/22. Synetta was well supported by Nell Bryson-Smith, Naomi McDonald and Jessica Marks who all claimed one wicket each in the innings. The Tigers were dismissed for 57 in reply, resulting in a first up loss for the First Grade side.

A match up with Penrith awaits just around the corner for our First Grade side, with Second Grade set to face Campeblltown-Camden next weekend.
