Tigers into Limited-Overs semi after big win

Sunday saw the Tigers defeat a strong St George line up at Drummoyne Oval in the Quarter Final to book a place in the Semi Final against Bankstown this Sunday.

Winning the toss and electing to bowl first proved to be a fruitful decision for the Tigers, with St George slumping to 7/105, before being dismissed for 208 in the 43rd over. Nic Bills followed on from his 4 wicket haul the previous day to claim 5/44. Ryan Felsch also picked up 3 important scalps (3/39), which included the prized wicket of recent Australian centurion Kurtis Patterson. In reply, the Tigers got off to a flying start with opening batsman Ryan Felsch racing to 61 off 48 balls before being dismissed. Skipper Dan Smith (52) and Zak Crawley (40no) ensured the Tigers got over the line 5 wickets down in the 41st over.

An outstanding victory for the Tigers sees them host Bankstown this coming Sunday at Drummoyne Oval!
