No luck for our Women's teams on Sunday

Sunday unfortunately saw our three Women's teams go down to some tough opposition.

First Grade came up against Campbelltown-Camden at Ryde Oval, with the Tigers winning the toss and batting first. The Tigers were unfortunately dismissed for a low total of 80, with the opposition chasing the total 5 wickets down inside 23 overs. Ahilya Chandel was a shining light claiming 2/14 in the unfortunate loss.

Second Grade faced off against Northern District at Mark Taylor Oval and elected to bat first after winning the toss. The Tigers were dismissed for 30 inside 20 overs, which saw NDs chase the low target 2 wickets down inside 8 overs.

Our young Brewer Shield squad took on a strong Gordon side at Killara Park. Gordon won the toss and sent the Tigers in to bat first, with the Rampants able to post a defendable 7/130 at the conclusion of the 40 over innings. Skipper Eva Ragg led the charge top scoring with 38, whilst Grace Bryson-Smith supported her captain with a valuable innings of 24. In reply, Gordon chased the target just 3 wickets down to complete a strong victory.
