The Sydney Cricket Club has one of the richest histories on the Australian cricketing landscape and everyone is welcome to participate as a player on many different levels.
The SCC Committee invite all comers to wear the black and gold colours with pride and participate in our hugely successful men's, women's and junior competitions.

Playing for the SCC
Sydney Cricket Club is a senior cricket club that facilitates seven men's teams in the NSW Premier Cricket Competition. The SCC aim to provide an environment where players can progress, develop their skills and realise their potential.
SCC teams train at Drummoyne Oval on Tuesdays and Thursdays and play every Saturday from September through to March.
The club competes in two under-age competitions, the Poidevin-Gray Shield (Under 21) and AW Green Shield (Under 16).
The Sydney Cricket Club's women have a proud history with a number of past and current international and first-class players including Belinda Clark, Ellyse Perry, Rachael Haynes and Alyssa Healy.
The SCC manage three teams in the NSW Women’s Premier Cricket competition.
Sydney Cricket Club teams train at Drummoyne Oval on Wednesday night and play every Sunday throughout summer in Limited-Over and Twenty20 competitions.
The club competes in the Brewer Shield, which is afforded to female players under the age of 17.
Sydney Cricket Club proudly hosts Woolworth's Cricket Blast - 'Master Blasters' program for participants aged 7-10.
Woolworths Cricket Blast captures the colour and excitement of the Men's and Women's Big Bash League in a fun and fast format.
Master Blasters is for kids learning basic skills of cricket with participants building skills through fun, game-based activities.
The activities are designed for small groups to ensure every child gets a go, allowing them to test and learn new skills.
The program is designed for both boys and girls to enjoy.
