NRL: Sydney Roosters v South Sydney Rabbitohs

What better way to farewell Allianz Stadium to rugby league than a clash between two of the NRL's oldest and fiercest rivals, the Roosters and the Rabbitohs.

A place in the grand final is the prize for these two glamour clubs and this local derby battle will pack the SCG Trust precinct for an electric night of sudden death footy.

The Roosters have been sitting back recovering since their memorable win over Cronulla in round one of the finals and will be ready to burst on to the field with a team chock full of starts including Cooper Cronk, Bord Cordner and James Tedesco.

Exciting centre Latrell Mitchell has fallen foul of the judiciary and will have to watch on from the sidelines, a gap in the backline that the Rabbitohs will surely look to exploit.

South Sydney have charged through to the preliminary final on the back of an unrelenting forward pack led by the three Burgess brothers and would love nothing else than to spoil the party at Allianz on Saturday night.

Halfback Adam Reynolds is brimming with confidence after sharp-shooting three field goals to lead the 'Rabbits' to victory over the Panthers and these teams are impossible to split across the park.

A huge crowd is expected so leave the car at home, take advantage of the public transport to the ground and arrive early to enjoy all the facilities the Sydney Cricket and Sporting Ground Trust precinct has to offer.
