The Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground Trust employs over 150 staff in areas such as Events, Finance, Operations, Human Resources, Membership, Marketing, Sales, Hospitality, Grounds, Maintenance and Security.

In addition over 300 Event Day Staff perform Customer Service and Crowd Safety roles to ensure members, patrons and guests enjoy a memorable experience whilst visiting the Trust precinct.

How do you apply

Recruitment for the many and varied positions available at the Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground Trust is undertaken at various stages throughout the year on a needs basis. The Trust will place an advertisement on the SCGT Precinct website when recruiting.

The Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground Trust is a highly sought after venue for year 10/11 students hoping to undertake work experience.

The Trust offer two work experience programs featured below.

Business Administration
Grounds and Maintenance 

Acceptance of students to the Work Experience Program is subject to the submission of appropriate documentation inclusive of the relevant Insurance Policy from the school, which must be submitted and approved prior to commencement of the program.

Each application will be considered on the basis of availability of the program and suitability of the applicants to the individual programs. The status of the request will be communicated to all students after the closing date.

Event day staff

The Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground Trust provides casual employment on event days for both Customer Service Staff and Crowd Safety Staff.

Event Day Staff are the face of our venues and leave first and last impressions for patrons and their experiences within the Trust precinct.

As the Trust stages events at Allianz Stadium and the Sydney Cricket Ground, year round, we require staff that have a genuine interest in ongoing casual employment.

Customer Service Staff

Customer Service Staff

The Trust require people with demonstrated customer service experience to join our existing team of ushers and turnstile attendants.

You will have a minimum 1-2 years experience in a customer service role, exceptional communication skills including problem solving and an ability to give clear and concise instructions. You will take pride in your personal presentation and have a neat and tidy appearance.

Ideally you will have knowledge of the various types of sporting events held at our venues.

Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Senior First Aid are preferred but not essential.

Applicants for Customer Service Staff are required to be flexible in availability, especially Monday-Friday nights, Saturdays and Sundays.

Crowd Safety Staff

Crowd Safety Staff

The Trust are looking for fully licensed individuals with crowd safety experience to join our existing team.

You will have a minimum 1-2 years experience in a crowd safety role. Minimum qualifications for this role are a current Security Licence (1AC), Senior First Aid and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA).

You will have exceptional verbal and written communication skills including problem solving and an ability to give clear and concise instructions. You will take pride in your personal presentation and have a neat and tidy appearance.

Ideally you will have knowledge of the various types of sporting events held at our venues. Master licence: 407431355.

Applicants for Crowd Safety staff are required to be flexible in availability, especially Monday-Friday nights, Saturdays and Sundays.
