Catering
A catering consultant was on site during the Ashes Test Match to monitor performance and provide recommendations for improvements for future events. Learning from suggestions made during the 2006 SCG Test Match survey, the Trust increased the catering options available to Members for the 2007 SCG Ashes Test Match. A variety of new and healthy options were made available at the Members Village Green, the number of coffee carts was increased to 13 whilst the introduction of Harry’s Café de Wheels in the Members Reserve ensured a convenient and popular lunchtime option for SCG Test Match fans.
Dress Regulations
In the lead up to the 2007 SCG Ashes Test Match the Trust increased the amount of communication to Members by circulating the Members Essential Guide. This clarified various membership policies and listed answers to common questions relating to the highly anticipated Ashes Series, including a significant section detailing Members Dress Regulations.
The Trust also employed additional staff to help monitor dress regulations during the Test Match to ensure that the standards and traditions of Members were upheld across the Members Reserve. Following feedback relating to the female standards of dress in both the Pavilion and Reserve, the Trust board has also been provided with a recommendation for review to ensure the policy is clear at future Test Matches and Trust events.
